Hi Theo,

I'm really enjoying the course. However, I have hit a bit of a snag. I went to add content to the Secondary Sidebar, and it looks as if they have changed the way this works. It's not as simple as when I first did it as shown on your course. Now you have to select a wigdet. All I want to do is add a link to another page but I am as confused as hell. I have tried the Block widget, but that expects me to use code, I have tried the pages widget, but can't seem to get that to work, I really am at a loss. I wish I could go back to the older version, it seemed so much simpler.

Thanks in advance.

Rob

Hi Rob

The only way to add content to a sidebar is via a widget area.

To add a single link to the sidebar, choose the HTML widget and enter the link like this:

<a href="url">link text</a>

Replace url with the url of the link you want to add. Replace link text with the text that you want to display.
