Writing

Very few of us are perfect writers, and luckily we don't need to be. But, we do need to write well enough so that our written content is easy to read, flows well, and is free of grammatical errors.

The best tool for that is Grammarly. At Build That Blog, every piece of written content is proofread and corrected with Grammarly before being published. It's quick, easy, and well worth the $12 per month price tag.

Hosting

Every blog or website (in fact, every online property) is hosted on a server somewhere. The server provides a space on the web for your blog. Without hosting, your blog doesn't exist online. Hosting also provides the technology that allows your blog to operate.

Not all hosting is equal, and the one we use and have always recommended is Siteground web hosting. It's consistently highly rated across numerous authority review sites, computer magazines, etc.

It has everything you need; it's reliable, fast, user-friendly, fairly priced, and has excellent support.

Freelancers

There will be small tasks that you might prefer to delegate to an expert from time to time. For example, logo creation or installing Google Analytics (free software for tracking and analyzing your blog traffic).

The cheapest place to get these small jobs taken care of is Fiverr. It's a vast freelance marketplace offering 1000's of 'gigs.'

Use the search box to find the type of gig you require, and then use the filters to sort by budget ($5 upwards), delivery time, seller rating, and more.

Email List Building

A responsive list is an asset and can make a significant difference to your blog's revenue. Make it part of your marketing strategy as soon as you can. To build an email list, you need a tool called an autoresponder

The oldest and unarguably the best autoresponder is Aweber. I've been using it since 2006. Over the years, I've tried others, but none have ever lived up to Aweber or even come close.

Plans start at $16 per month and include some fantastic features, such as an opt-in landing page builder and much more.
