1.Medium

Medium is a publishing platform with a vast audience of more than 90 million unique visitors every month. The best way to use Medium is by creating posts exclusively for publishing on there, but if you don't have time for that, the second-best option is to republish some of your existing blog posts. Medium even has a tool that allows easy import of any post on your blog. A link going back to your blog is automatically added at the end of the post.

And if you're wondering about the 'duplicate content' thing and whether Google might penalize you for reposting/sharing your blog content? The answer is no, you won't be penalized 🤓.

Tips:

Select your best, high-quality posts to republish on Medium.
Don't republish all of your blog posts on Medium. Stick to 1 in 5 or less.

2. Quora

Quora is a questions and answers site with around 300 million active monthly users. It's worldwide, but over half of its users are located in the US, India, and the UK. Statistics from Alexa.com tell us that 35% of Americans use Quora. That's a huge percentage! But it's not only about the numbers because Quora users are typically very responsive, and businesses often report seeing better results from Quora than other platforms.

One of the most valuable features is the ability to search the platform for questions related to your blog subject. When you find a question that is asked a lot, is getting lots of comments, etc., you can create a blog post specifically around that question. You can then answer that question on Quora and include a link to your blog post giving more detailed information.

Tip:

Quora does not like its platform being used for the sole purpose of 'free advertising,' and if you give that impression, you could get banned 🙄 . The way to get traffic from Quora to your blog is to contribute in a way that provides value. You do that by answering user's questions directly related to the subject of your blog. Basically you are showing your expertise. The more questions you answer, the more credible you become in the eyes of other users, and the more traffic you will get to your blog.
