Hey fellow newbie bloggers,

I post this to learn from my mistakes regarding Google AdSense. It is a major "pain in the you know what"... After one year of blogging and being accepted for AdSense, I learned through Google Analytics that most of my traffic comes from Facebook when promoting my new blog posts on my Facebook page.

AdSense does not like that at all, as AdSense reads traffic coming from Facebook as invalid and ads get (temporarily) disabled, which makes that you do not earn money from AdSense...
So, this is just a tip to somehow change your strategy regarding Facebook (and other social media) promotion. I suggest reading this article: https://twistarticle.com/is-facebook-traffic-right-for-your-adsense-monetized-blog/

I am still confused about this. I am very new to the blog and just transitioned to this forum and I have just published my blog. I am not tech person either. so...at this stage...what is the best way to promote and possibly monetize in the future?

It doesn't mean that you shouldn't use Facebook or Google Adsense.  I've not read the article, but I do know that the Adsense algorithm is set up to detect and prevent click fraud.  If the majority of traffic is coming from one particular social media source, it could be deemed to be high risk.

Of course, Adsense is only one option for monetization.
