Hi Theo, when going live with my blog and shop, is it best to launch with 5-10 posts already published in the blog, or launch with 1-2 and then post one daily until I’ve got 10 posts published? All this, of course, to get Google to recognise and rank my blog from the get go.
Okay, so if by launch you mean start promoting and driving traffic to the blog, I recommend having a minimum of five posts already published. But, if you plan to publish one a day anyway, that would work too.
Google won't immediately 'judge' your blog based on how much content it has. It's not about that. It's about the user experience. In other words, how visitors perceive your blog. Which, in turn, affects Google rankings.
